Condolences and prayers to the family. Bibi was so special to all of us at RLBFT. I will miss seeing her in the ladies dressing room at the Paramount Theatre before a performance doing a last minute makeup and hair check with us telling us a joke and wishing us all good luck. We were lucky to know her. We Love You Bibi!

There is no other person on Earth like Bibi...I regret not being able to spend time with her after her illness surfaced. In January I told her I was going to make an extended visit to Austin, even looked up an AIRBNB to stay at, to be with her and I said I would go in the Spring...never made it because of the Pandemic. Bibi was kind, thoughtful, loving and caring...children were such a huge part of her life...women too...we had such a wonderful time reimagining the world to make it a special place for children and women...and we developed so many programs to help others together...she was my intellect’s best challenger and I will miss her always...I loved her more than any of my words could express...she will now reside, like my parents, in my heart forever. It’s my hope she took me with her too..I will meet up with her again in Infinity...may the Angels who journeyed with her take care of her in her new home. I love you Bibi...

I have been blessed with many angels in my life but none greater than Bibi. God got a good one... I met her in 1995 and (thankfully) got drafted into her causes and many tremendous projects, but what sustained the incredible friendship was humor, tireless commitment to the community, love of family and the singular focus of giving voice to the voiceless, namely the children of challenged circumstances and their communities. Her heart was tremendous, her laughter contagious and her friendship genuine. Gracias, Bibi, gracias.
My sincerest condolences to Tom, Andrew and all the family.

Tom and Andrew -- - I have just read Bibi's life story - - she sounds a like a remarkable woman who made an incredible contribution to the lives of others while on this earth - - she was a gift to others that will live on. May you find peace and joy as she moves on to watch over you from above. Judy Pecar Crockett

Bibi taught us so much about children and activism from back in the day of First English Lutheran Child Development Center when Andrew and Roy were classmates. Sending our love to Tom, Andrew and all your family.

There are many fond memories I have of Bibi, but the one that stands out the most is of a gathering of Las Comadres. She told jokes and retold stories that had everyone within earshot in stitches. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much. That was classic Bibi, best joke teller in 2 languages. Un abrazo fuerte amiga!
